Eligibility Requirements for the Bihar Post-Secondary School Scholarship Portal, 2022 Online Application

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Most Backward Classes Students from the state of Bihar who identifies as members of the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, or Scheduled Tribes are eligible to apply for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.

Each applicant must be a legal resident of the state of Bihar.

The post-matriculation scholarship scheme in India has a maximum yearly income requirement of 250000 for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. To qualify for SC/ST status, a parent or guardian’s yearly income from all sources cannot exceed 250000 in either the current fiscal year or the next two years (2019-20 and 2020-21).
